Make sure you aligned both pieces properly, then insert the gem inside the golden base.
The gem should stick on its own, but if need be you can add a small dot of glue behind it.

Printing artifacts
The golden filament may reveal small continuity defects on the base's top surface.
The seam, where the extruder ends and starts a layer, will be visible on a part of the base.
